Celebrating Missoni Zig-Zags !

The outfit I choose to wear for Missoni Grand Opening, I was in the mood to dress up and its been a while since I wore a fancy skirt unless it's a special ocassion the collar of my top was adorned with micro Missoni zig zag matching the heels I had on. For  the careful eye they might recognize the design but it's very simple and chic I loved the flowness of the skirt and unique design of the top which looks like a shawl but actually just a wide collar to fold from the top.

 The Comforter Bubble Bar

    This fruity bubble bar gives the feeling of being hugged by a jolly blackcurrant. When life is getting you down, crumble The Comforter under hot, running water for purple water and creamy bubbles.

The Ma Bar

The LUSH Ma Bar is a Bubble Bar of two halves: cocoa and honey toffee. In the centre, there's a lump of brown sugar, which melts in the bath water.

I spend endless hours in my bathtub wether reading or tweeting , therefore I stocked my bathroom with a variety of bubble bath's and bubble bars.

Lush carry a wide variety of bubble bars, I manage to divide them into 3 or 4 pieces and use each piece individually. Crumble it in a dry tub then start the water. It fills the tub with a nice rosy color and tons of bubbles !

Anyone tried them as well ? other reccomendations?

Hotel Missoni Grand Opening pt 2

This Wednesday I got invited to Hotel Missoni Grand opening ceremony, after a hectic day at work arrived fashionably late as usual around 8 PM or so .  Mum honored me with her presence since I was allowed to bring one guest along, I must highlight my mum is a sucker for Missoni her closet is filled with tons of Missoni skirts, cardigans & tops.

Welcomed by the orchestra as featured on my previous post, and greeted by the guys rocking Missoni deshdasha's we found our way to the 2nd floor where the ballroom is located.

 The ballroom music was blazing, hot & soft drinks bar and multiple food stations.

 Look at those funky cups, that's sumthing i'd love to have at my house  <3

Got the chance to try the chocolate fondue cake, very yummy and the vanilla bean icecream was phenomenon !

Then we took the exit to the pool , music and more food stations available.

Then we were escorted to view the presidential suite on the 17th floor.

The suite was quite spacious adorned with the signature Missoni zigzags all over the place with it's own sauna room & outdoor jaccuzi  ensuring full privacy.

Before leaving we passed by the Choco cafe, there was funky fondue fountains I'm glad we didn't miss !

Congrats Hotel Missoni on your grand opening it was an unforgettable event , I sure enjoyed my time and the staff was beyond professional and friendly !

Food for Thought

On our wedding day, Sean told me that he'd step in front of a bullet to save me. I knew he wanted me to confess the same thing, but I couldn't. Amelia needed me to take care of her. On the other hand, if that bullet had been heading straight for Amelia, I wouldn't have thought twice before diving forward.

Did that make a very good mother, or a very bad wife? But this wasn't a bullet, and it hadn't been fired at us. It was an oncoming train, and the cost of saving my daughter was throwing myself onto the tracks there was only one catch : my best friend was tired to me.

The agony of Charlotte in a battle for her daughter who has OI, a bone disease that makes her bones so brittle that she might break if she sneezed, and her best friend who first diagnosed her pregnancy.

Very Heart Breaking book, I sobbed within every bone snaps of Willow my heart goes out to all children suffering from the same disease.

First Glance

This time I'm talking about men fashion, first things attracts me in a man and I make sure to check out whenever I encounter a hot dude are : His smile; as his teeth would say alot about him smoker or not too,His Hands; clean fingernails & last his shoes !

I believe footwear says alot about a man, don't think its the last thing to check NOPE its very significant a dude with a proper pair of shoes or even sandals so a dude with a scruffy pair of a shoes is a lost cause to me!

Scoopatize my Day !

The lovely people from Scoop A Cone invited me to their Scoopalicious event at Al-Bairaq Mall / Al-Aqaila, a tasting session to try  their new icy coffee drinks and give our feedbacks.
I found my way there, right after work to enjoy a much inticipated sugar rush.

We were given an evaluation sheet to evaluate the upcoming drinks,

So the new coffee drinks menu is: Iced Cappucino, Caramel Latte, Vanilla Latte, Hazelnut Latte & Mocha.

Me & My friend had mixed opinions about the drinks I like to taste the coffee in my drinks so that was my only concern by the highlight of the day was the Iced Hazelnut Latte & Iced Mocha very yummy and refreshing.

Not to forget its gonna be double in size and available in takeaway cups as well.

Before the end of the session we were given Toffee, Natural Yogurt Gelato, Mini Ice-Cream sandwich treat & Ice Cream Lollipop .

The yougurt was phenomenon as well as the Toffee the dark chocolate bits in it complimented the taste and gave the Gelato an excellent twist.

I have to mention the interior is quite amazing very enchanted and gives the feel of a doll house with all sweet retro pink colors, before leaving I had to walk around the place and snap pictures, noticed that they offered a selection of cakes and sandwiches if anyone would fancy a snack.

And finally outfit pictures, wasn't looking my best I just left work by then.
For everyone who asked about my top it's Moschino same applies to my handbag.

Gonna risk blowing my cover for now !



 Had the pleasure meeting Mr Andres Gonzales the Operations Manager who gladly answered all the question I had for him, and wowed us with his accent <3

Let's Dress Up II

I was invited to the launch of Topshop Dress Up Collection, the whole store was wrapped within a delicate euphoria hype.

          Al-Shaya team was quite professional answering all enquiries and facilitate taking endless pictures.

Music blazing, refreshments goin in rounds, yummy macaroons to munch on, an ouststanding collection to choose from and 20% discount on all purchases!

Snapshots of the collection I loved the gold sequined dress but I got sumthing very simillar to this design and the dress I had my eyes on is exclusive to Oxford Circus Topshop, Bummer !

The apple ring very Snow white & the clock pendant reminds me of Mad Hatter which I <3

very WonderLand theme.

I got myself an armour ring when I first spotted it adorning Sama's finger couldn't help not to buy it I promise a detailed post of my recent purchases soon !

 Mini fashion show,  I loved the styling of the model on the second frame mixing neutral tones with very elegant maxi skirt.

On a non related note, dude with quirky style but I like !
