As this cake might not look too hot, but taste wise it's simply addictive..
No matter how full I am after a meal at " GIA" I simply can't skip having a slice of their coffee cake along with a double shot of espresso to call it a happy ending ..
As I raved about it to my family quite a lot, I've decided to order it for the gathering this weekend..
The sponge cake itself is moist with coffee, layered with fluffy cream, and topped with chopped almonds.. It's dense, creamy, light weight and full of flavour. You intend to take only one bit but in no time it's gone !
My Mother is very hard to please, and she's quite picky when it comes to desserts but this was something she thoroughly enjoyed..
