Food for Thought

The Memory Keeper's Daughter
By Kim Edwards

On a snowy night, Dr. David Henry wife gives birth to twins a healthy boy and a girl which he diagnosed the minute he emerged with Down Syndrome, right then he gives away his daughter to the nurse who helped delivering the babies to take the baby girl into a shelter but nurse Caroline leaves the town and takes the girl with her to bring up.
David lives with burden of having such big secret away from his wife, who lives her life haunted by the feeling that a piece is missing outta her own soul. A very touching story filled with emotions.
Anyone managed to read it before?

And on a second note, check out this cool book light I got from Borders , Dubai !
Very convenient for a person who likes to read in bed like me, and too lazy to reach out to shut off the bedside lamp :P

It's small with a very flexible holder, a clip to attach to the book and comes in different colors too !
I took the purple one, my favourite colour <3

Comes with 3 small batteries to be installed at the bottom part of the clip, very practical unlike the one I got from energizer which needs to be taken to the shop to replace the batteries.
