I'm featured on this month issue of Marie Claire, a very brief page since I'm not ready yet to expose my identity !
I decided to talk about what made me start my blog , same time last year yours truly have hitted rocked bottom .
I was depressed , sick , and an annoying, sulking person who won't stop complaining ..
I was turning into a one note person, quite negative..
I began even hating myself for being like this, didn't even bare to listen to my own voice ..
I don't even know how did my friends managed to put up with all that !
I had to do something about it, otherwise I'd be losing myself, my friends and everyone I cared about..
My blog became the outlet for me to look at life from a different perspective, to appreciate the tiny things life has given me everyday, and that if God had taken something away he'll give me something better in return
I dragged myself away from all sorts of negative vibes to freely express myself on the blog to shed the light on the beautiful things surrounding us each day but we rather dismiss.
The beautiful dress that I bought for a friends party, or that old piece of jewelry which I received as a birthday gift or perhaps the tasty piece of cake that I enjoyed at my family's gathering, or that strongly inspiring book that kept me thinking for an entire week. Things that may seem quite minor but manages to draw a beautiful hue to my day.
When I thought about it thoroughly, it really comes down to me to make my life happier and prettier, so I took it upon myself to radiate positive vibes to people all around me , I chose to embrace those beautiful surroundings as I truly believe that
"True happiness is being content"
One Last note I must highlight, I blog not to compete with any one
I blog to express myself and share my passion ..
If for any reason you think I'm a threat, please re-cosider its not a game nor a competition just live and let others live as well !
