Metal Detail !
Studds trend has a much more rock’n’roll feeling which is accomplished via mesh, chains, and clean, masculine lines. The pyramid studs which adorned many clothing pieces like shoes, blazers, handbags, etc !
Spotted this studded blazer & vest at FashCode the vest is slightly on the heavy side my mind was racing about the endless options on what to style it with since our winter isn't that really cold makes just a perfect piece for the upcoming season .
The blazer on the other hand is lighter in texture, and come on who says you can have enough black blazers? wether to dress it down or up its simple perfect and has a rock n' roll feel to it !
The brand for the above pieces is called 2wins unfortunetly couldn't find much about it, anyone got more info?

The Dragon : Soft Opening !
Yesterday I was invited to the soft launch of "The Dragon" Japanese Cuisine located in Jabriya , on the 4th ring road.
Starting with wasabi covered cashews & a variety of drinks to choose from I got lemon and orange juice, my friends got strawberry smoothie which was spiked with coconut milk , and apple lime and red bull juice. I didn't try it myself but everyone was more than happy with their drinks .
Next up was the salads, Yasai salad and salmon avocado salad I didn't try the Yasai since it had cucumber and sweet corn ( I don't eat both) but my friend said it was really good and the spicy dressing added a nice taste to the salad overall, the salmon avocado salad was good light and tasty not too heavy .
For appetizers, we got kani furai and popcorn shrimps I liked the popcorn shrimps it was crunch from the outside soft and tasty from the inside, didn't try the Kani furai though.
Blue & Green Dragon
We tried a variety of rolls, Eight headed Dragon , Blue & Green Dragon & Golden Dragon the latter was my favourite drizzled with sweet yet spicy sauce . I tried one of the each rolls and the presentation was all in all very neat !
Moving on to the main courses we got Hata ebi with spinach its stir fried hammour, prawns and shitake mushroom which was sauteed to perfection served with sticky white rice on the side , the other dish was crispy spicy beef which I didn't try to be honest.
And finally the happy ending was , The Green Team , Red Dragon & Strawberry trifle usually at the end of having a Japanese feast I prefer having green tea icecream but the green team did it for me it was the best from the other two desserts it tasted like a tiramisu but infused with green tea instead of coffee.
Overall it was an interesting experience, not to forget the breathtaking interior symbolizing an actual size dragon and dragon bones chandeliers , wonderful seating ;cozy and very welcoming the weather was very nice so the windows were fully opened, the incoming breeze was pleasant !
Thanks to the Dragon owner for the invitation , as I was informed it would be opened to public within next week.

Food for Thought
Sing You Home
Jodi Picoult
Interesting read, even though I thought that my fondness for Jodi's books was slowly fading away but to tell you the truth she managed to capture my full attention with this phenonmenal story.
Zoe Baxter was married to Max for around ten years, both of them suffering from fertility problems that it was a must to go through an elongated and expensive procedures of extracting and freezing embryos, nonethelss even with their countless attemps to concieve eventually Zoe to miscarried twice and had a still born once .
After the still born, Max moved out filed for divorce which left Zoe terribly devastated .
Throught Zoe course of work as a music therapist helping children and burn victims to over come their pain, she bumped into Vanessa - School Counselor- whom she fell in love with .
Not gonna burn the book but their fight for the frozen embroys was nerve wracking !
I'm not agreeing with homosexual relationship by any form, however there are few things I'm gonna quote from Zoe that really kept me thinking for days :

I'm not agreeing with homosexual relationship by any form, however there are few things I'm gonna quote from Zoe that really kept me thinking for days :
"The music we listen to might not define who we are but it's a damn good start !"
" Everyday is a negotiation, Vanessa and I sit down over coffee, amd, instead of er burying herself in the newspaper-like max used to do- we discuss what needs to be done. now that i've moved in with her we ave a household to run. There's no man who's expected to change the lightbulbs that burn out, or take out the trash. If something heavy needs to be removed, we do it together. One of us has to mow the lawn, do the bills clean out the gutters.
When I was married, Max would ask what was for dinner; I'd ask if he had picked up the dry cleaning. Now, Vanessa and I map out our chores,
there is a lot of talking, alot of give-and-take, when it's just two women in the kitchen.
I want to believe that such thing exists in normal marriages?

Nails Gone Coco !
On my previous post for Topshop notebooks I was sporting metalic nails with a design , an anonymous reader of my blog asked about the nail polish I was wearing.
It's actually nail stickers , a set my sister got from London very organized box containing a variety of nail stickers, nail polish removal clothes individually wrapped , nail file, cuticle stick and nail clipper ! All in mini size !
The nail stickers varied between plain, glittery and patterned designs, took me around 5 minutes to apply to my finger nails then I added a clear coat of nail varnish on top to seal it very easy and quite funky !
I tried removing it with regular nail polish remover as well, it went away easily didn't bother me at all !
Anyone knows if its sold here in K-town ?

I'm a heavy user of Mac cosmetics, liquid liners and lipsticks in specific ! I usually buy 3 different colors of liquid eyeliner as I use them on daily basis, brown for work, black for nights, and blue for special occasions .
So I really appreciate Mac commitment to the environment, M·A·C accepts returns of its primary packaging through the Back to M·A·C Program.
By returning 6 M·A·C primary packaging containers to a M·A·C counter or M·A·C Cosmetics online, you’ll receive a free M·A·C lipstick of my choice as a thank you !
I already have 6 lipcticks from Back to Mac program <3
